We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. We do not use Google signals or ad personalisation, and nothing is shared with Google for advertising.

Whether they are set depends on where you are. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Quebec and every other region where the law requires your prior consent, they are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner. In the United States, the rest of Canada, Australia and New Zealand they are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time under Cookie settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn them off.

  • _ga_*: Used to persist session state. Expires after 2 years.

Our Own Visitor Statistics

We also count visits ourselves, on our own servers, to see which pages help people and where they come from: the pages viewed, how long they were read and how far they were scrolled, the referring website (without its query string), the country (from our network provider, not from your address), device type, browser and language, and actions such as starting a valuation or following a link. We do not store your IP address. Without your consent no cookie is set: page views are joined for one day only, by a code derived from your address and browser with a random value that we discard every day, so it cannot be traced back to you. Nothing is shared with third parties.

  • estimonia_visitor: Set only if you accept cookies. A random identifier that lets us recognise a returning visit. Expires after 13 months, and is removed if you withdraw consent.
